For Parents/Guardians/Requestor
Tuition will be conducted at your apartment. If the
venue is not convenient, do inform us of a suitable alternative in
advance so that we can notify the tutor.
We conduct phone interviews with short-listed
tutors and verify scanned copies of their certificates.
Nevertheless, it is preferred that you check the tutor’s
original certificates on the first lesson.

Tuition fees are fixed upon confirmation before
the first lesson.

The first month's tuition fee will be split
equally between the tutor and the agency. For the subsequent
months, the tutor will collect the full amount from you. There are
no additional agency fees. Thus in effect, the tuition advisory
and tutor sourcing services of Alison Tuition Agency are provided
to you free of charge.

You will receive an invoice stating payment
details within a week after the first lesson has commenced.

The agency fee will be due upon the end
of the second week. (2nd lesson for once-a-week assignments, 4th
lesson for twice-a-week assignments, 6th lesson for thrice-a-week
and so on, based on a 4 weeks month not calendar
month.)
Within the first month of tuition, if there is a
change of tutor, we will collect the tuition fee for completed
lessons and reimburse the tutor at our discretion.

Alison Tuition Agency main service is to provide
matching services for students and tutors.

Currently, we accept requests for tuition
in Singapore only.
If you cancel the
tuition assignment after confirmation, you are liable to
pay the agency $50, or 1 lesson worth of tuition fee, whichever
is higher. This is to minimize inconvenience to all parties. The
penalty may be waived on a case to case basis.
For Tutors

Registration is free.

However, all information provided in the form
must be accurate and reliable.

You are required to email us your
certificates.

You must be 18 years old or above with a
minimum GCE 'O' Levels Certificate or equivalent.

We reserve the rights to reject your
application.

Alison Tuition Agency will email available
assignments to you.

Currently, we accept tuition assignments from
Singapore only.

You are to inform us if you do not wish to
receive any such correspondences and we will remove you from our
mailing list upon confirmation.

Alison Tuition will arrange for the timing of the
tuition lessons and inform you the details.

If you are unable to make it on time, contact
Alison Tuition Agency so that we can inform the student.

You are required to bring along your academic
certificates and identification documents (e.g identity card,
passport) for verification purposes.

You will be collecting 50% of the tuition
fees at the end of the first month as the other 50% is paid to the
agency by the requestor.

For subsequent lessons, the requestor will pay
you the full tuition fee.

Tutors are expected to have a good attitude, to
be responsible and punctual for lessons.

Make it a point to be early for lessons,
especially for the first lesson to account for traffic jams and
other unforeseen delays.

You are to have a lesson plan and prepare tuition
materials before each session.

If you cancel the

If you terminate the tuition
before completing one month worth of tuition, the
tuition fee you will receive is at our discretion and subject to
the circumstances for termination.

If the requestor (parent/guardian/student)
deem your tuition to be unsatisfactory, we will investigate
the case and the tuition fee you will receive is dependent on
our findings.
